GLOVE WALL PAPER

New wallpaper, previewed for Design Week 23. Created in collaboration with GLoVE in which the art deco architectural references converse with contemporary and come to life on the walls in Casa Ornella giving unique character to the environment. Exclusive, or rather, unique as a work of art, this is the synthesis of the objectives of GLoVE. It is a new reality that is responsible for the concept and design of customized wall coverings. The insight comes from Alice Guazzo, interior decorator and Lorenzo Viola, architect who both thought of combining their respective skills and experiences. Creating a new way of conceiving interiordecoration for restaurants, hotels, exhibition stands, offices and shops with multiple locations and outlets. A study and conception of designs, patterns and textures with a selection of materials and a choice of technology guarantee an exclusive product for the client. The designs made by GLoVE, thanks to the technology used, can be reproduced on various supports such as adhesive PVC, fabric and paper. This enhances the coordinated image, creating personalized objects and unique gadgets. Art and technology along with materials and selected professionals with imaginative thinking and skills to implement this, are the pillars at the base of the GLoVE philosophy.

REFLECTION COPENHAGEN

Reflections Copenhagen with its unique crystal handcrafted objects, born from colourful universes and hypnotic shapes, offering a lively interplay of light and shadow reflections revealing a special attraction for Art Deco, Bauhaus and vintage aesthetics. The brand new A/W 2023 collection, previewed at Casa Ornella, is inspired by a return to iconic pieces. For instance the Chelsea glass, enriched with a palette of shades that brings a new dimension to its shapes, and transports the viewer into the vibrant, eccentric atmospheres of the 70s, along with the Darling Mirror or the premium plates from the Portuguese tableware collection. A collection of objects that fit organically into the set up of Casa Ornella where everything lives and changes according to the brightness of the moment, animating each object and setting. The brand was founded in 2014 by Andrea Larsson driven by his passion for art and decoration, but also by the desire to innovate and push the boundaries in the field of decorative luxury objects. Today present in the most prestigious boutiques around the world such as Harrods, Farfetch, Lane Crawford, Neiman Marcus, 10 Corso Como, just to name a few.

Each carpet is carefully interwoven with attention paid to detail that transforms each piece into a unique 100% custom made work of art.

Architettura Sonora (AS) is a high quality Italian audio brand that in recent years has conquered a pioneering position in the audio and design sector. It was born in 2009 as a division of the B&C Speakers Group, one of the largest and most prestigious manufacturers of professional speaker translators in the world, a leader in the Pro-Audio market for 75 years. Architettura Sonora designs and manufactures itscustom-made “in-house” loudspeakers; each speaker meets any required setting needs and is available in a wide range. Designed as true works of art, they accurately reproduce sound at its best and create mesmerizing experiences for the senses, thus transforming the landscape from a simple background, to a key component for enhancing acoustic experiences.

Giulia Archimede, Florentine by birth with a passion for nature, art and craftsmanship, chooses to embark on the path of interior decor to express her unprecedented creative vision. It is not just a concept and product, but a spiritual idea of everyday life, of material and of the projectin hand.From this statement contemporary sculptures are born and linked to light that lead back to nature, to stars and to original forms and shapes. Rebirth is an onyx light-sculpture created to illuminate the path of those who recognize not only its functional and aesthetic value, but above all for those who understand its energetic, soothing and vibrational value. An object of art and craftsmanship that illuminates everyday life with wisdom and sweetness, an egg of light capable of restoring each element to its original purity and reconnecting with inner stillness.

HOUSE OF ITA

Margarita (Ita) Aleksievska Sclavi, aka "House of Ita", is a multimedia textile artist of North Macedonian origin. Following an interlude in the United States and England, Ita moved permanently to Rome, where she handcrafted hand-painted tapestries and home textiles in limited editions, alongside collectible items of furniture. What distinguishes her work is the measured contamination of traditional and contemporary elements, in a game of union and contrasts. Ita breathes life into a delicately mysterious iconography, infused with a sense of unreality and surprise, which winks at surrealism and reveals influences ranging from Naïve Art to Magical Realism, from Russian Constructivism to Ornamentalism and mythology. Ita's creations, which honour her Macedonian roots and multicultural background, are the result of a unique design style that arises from the encounter between East and West. The slight variations and slight imperfections of each piece are a sign of their singular quality. Her production intersects multiple levels and displays a complex and highly expressive language. An eclectic style, to which the dualistic nature of her career contributes: in addition to her artistic vocation, Ita is also a practicing psychiatrist, convinced that both activities are a powerful means of fostering the narration of individual and collective experiences. Each House of Ita collection is a visual poem, a narration and reflection of the artist's imaginary world. Entering the House is like stepping into Wonderland and embarking on an extraordinary journey of fantasy.

FILIPPO SALERNI

Filippo Salerni's sculptures are affected by the constant search for creative innovation. His particular interest in metalworking, where he investigates matter in its mechanical transformations and the consequential movements of solids in space, is a creative imagination that finds its roots in Futurist aesthetics

NICOLAS DENINO

Nicolas Denino was born in Montevideo, trained in Europe and New York and later settled in Italy. His works are inspired by Zygmunt Bauman's Liquid Society, the deep crisis dictated by unbridled individualism and the lack of a sense of community that the artist interprets through the use of shapes that fluctuate in space, without relating to each other. These reflections are translated into circles, predominantly blue in colour, they are both applied to diversified supports and released into space as sculptures. The choice of blue, which translates the liquid dimension well, is also prompted for reasons related to the personal history of the artist who was raised in a family of water producers.

SERGIO FIORENTINO

Sergio Fiorentino, shows bodies hovering in the air and faces with an enigmatic gaze, these are the artist's subjects that characterize a style in strong colours with sophisticated classic references and intrinsic charm of the landscapes of his native Sicily.

TATIANA BRODATCH

Tatiana Brodatch was born and raised in Moscow, she studied and worked as an architect for 15 years between Russia and Milan, contributing to the creation of award-winning buildings published in various trade magazines. Despite being very passionate about her work, she was looking for a more direct and immediate way of expression. Since 2013 she has embarked on an artistic journey where spontaneity finds its natural form in plasticine, a material with which Tatiana creates faceless characters. These characters are bearers of universal feelings through sculptures, photographs and videos, narrating relationships, personal reflections, doubts and hesitations typical of human nature. In 2015 Tatiana Brodatch enrolled at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and moved to Milan where she currently lives and works in her atelier. She participates in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and in Europe, collaborating with editorial projects in the field of fashion and design.

ANDREAS SENONER

Andreas Senoner, a South Tyrolean artist whose sculptural research focuses on the elaboration of themes such as metamorphosis, inheritance and stratification, both symbolic and material. Wood, being his favorite material for his works, is considered both an element of nature, a place where memory accumulates, and a material in which it is possible to read the traces of time, before, during and after the artistic process. His anthropomorphic sculptures interpret bodies as mere transitory shells, of a secularly understood soul engaged in a process of continuous metamorphosis towards an elusive final form.

Perfume is a journey into the depths of emotion, into the freedom of passionate and generative desire. The entrusted Tonatto Profumi, excellence in Italian perfumery, have customized some of the most prestigious and luxurious environments in the world. It is Diletta Tonatto who created a real olfactory portrait for Casa Ornella, a sensorial frame, an erotic smellscape. Perfume is the free appropriation of that passionate fire that guides us through life. In Casa Ornella this dimension is free, stripped of prejudices and left free in its multiplicity. There are no petals, hesperides or gourmand notes in the Ornella olfactory pyramid. No fresh head or flowery heart, but a continuum of bold, intense, deep and warm notes. The protagonists are the notes that recall the animal world - white musk and owl are accompanied by resins, woods and balms are anchored in an earthy patchouli. A tribal, archaic rhythm is felt deep down, it is generated by the presence of a pungent primordial, human intimate scent, that is stimulating and active. An unconventional olfactory note in perfumery, has been chosen to characterize Casa Ornella in order to emphasize the human emotional dimension of colour and its passionate creativity.
